About Me

I started reading psychology textbooks when I was 12 years old. These books began a quest for me to better understand the emotional and interpersonal struggles my friends and I were experiencing growing up. As time went on, it became clear that helping others manage the developmental and transitional challenges we all face was my life’s aspiration.

After college, I worked as a talent scout for a renowned international modeling agency. The beauty and fashion industries exploited and capitalized on naive, star struck adolescent females while actively encouraging food restriction. This experience acted as the impetus for my return to grad school, and shaped my first primary focus as an eating disorder therapist.

After several years, the time came to explore other areas of special interest. I have extensive experience with over 20 years of private practice, while continuing to learn, train and hone my skills.

My current speciality is in the field of OCSB/PSB ( Out of Control Sexual Behaviors/Problematic Sexual Behaviors), infidelity and SA (Sex Addiction). Most recently, I have been recognized by APSATS ( Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists) as a CCPS: Certified Clinical Partner Specialist for those struggling with Betrayal Trauma and by IITAP ( International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals) as a CSAT: Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. I am presently (Spring/ Summer ‘26) facilitating a Betrayed Partner support group. I am also currently accepting new clients and welcome all inquires from those interested in virtual services for individual, couples and/or group therapy in the states I am licensed to practice in: CO, CT, FL, IN, NJ and NY.
