I was educated and trained as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R). Prior to attending graduate school, however, I worked as a booker and talent scout for a renowned international modeling agency. I started my career as a therapist at local community mental health clinics primarily servicing an underprivileged and disadvantaged population on the East End of Long Island where I also developed my first private practice. Being on the front lines of how the beauty and fashion industries exploited and capitalized on naive and star struck adolescent females and actively encouraged food restriction shaped my first primary focus as a therapist. I pursued advanced training in treating clients with problematic, chronic and life threatening relationships with food. After many years, the time came to explore other areas of interest.
I sensed a need in treatment resources for those who were struggling with whether to stay or leave a romantic partnership and began faciliating a group called “Suddenly Single”. I have remained passionate about my ongoing commitment to expanding my expertise and most recently, I have been recognized by APSATS ( Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists) as a CCPS: Certified Clinical Partner Specialist for those struggling with Betrayal Trauma. Additionally, I am also credentialed as a CSAT-C: Certified Sex Addiction Therapist-Candidate by IITAP ( International Institute for Trauma & Addictions Professionals) and will achieve full credentialing in early 2026. I am NOW (Winter ‘25) forming a Betrayed Partner support group. I am also currently accepting new clients and welcome all inquires from those interested in virtual services for individual, couples and/or group therapy in the states I am licensed to practice in: CO, CT, FL, IL, IN, NJ and NY.
